The white sandy beach is a short elevator ride, unit is on 3rd floor, center of building. HURRICANE UPDATE: BUILDING RESTORATION NOW COMPLETE, MINUS THE POOL. NO POOL AT THIS TIME, EXPECT POOL BY SUMMER 2026. NEW PARKING LOT, NEW BOARDWALK, BEACH SAND RESTORATION HAS MADE A NICE WIDE BEACH.
The Sunset Chateau condo complex is situated right in the heart of Sunset Beach, and directly on one of the most beautiful stretches of beach in the area. The condo is a short walk to restaurants and shopping and gives easy access to St. Petersburg and all the area attractions.
Located in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by private homes, you can experience all that the beaches have to offer without the noise and traffic of the main strip. Perfect for the snowbird couple or for those just looking for a relaxing place to stay.
This comfortable and well-furnished 590 sq. ft. 1 bed/1 bath condo sleeps 2 featuring a King size bed. The living room has full size couch and love seat couch, small corner desk, 50" smart TV, DVD player and 2 chairs for use on the balcony, new (2022) hurricane thermal windows. Glass on full screen door is also adjustable for additional airflow during winter months. Bedroom has 32" Smart TV, plenty of closet and dresser storage and large window with partial bay views looking towards downtown St. Petersburg. All the towels and linens necessary are provided. New whole unit water filtration/softener (2022) eliminates need for bottled water. A/C/heat new (2021). New refrigerator (2025).
Updated kitchen, newer cabinets, granite counter tops, new refrigerator, new quite Kitchen Aide dishwasher. Small kitchen appliances: blender, coffee makers drip and K-cup, handheld mixer. Prepare your beach front meals in comfort and style or BBQ beachside.
The full bath renovation includes an extra deep tub, new toilet, new sink, new vanity. Kept in the cleanest condition from top to bottom. The kitchen and bath are tiled. The rest of the unit has vinyl plank flooring. The complex has a private, heated beach-front swimming pool (newly restored 2021), picnic tables, charcoal grills, and some of the most beautiful views available. Watch the stunning sunsets daily straight on from your balcony directly facing the gulf as the dolphins play. Enjoy the stunning beauty of the pristine Gulf of Mexico. There are beach chairs, umbrella and various beach items for your use.
A complete linen set, beach and bath towels, a starter set of paper goods, hand soap, shampoo/conditioner, laundry detergent, dishwashing soap and trash bags, free parking for 1 vehicle, free Wi-Fi access are provided. Property is managed by responsive local owner.
Nearby activities include sailing, kayaking, paddleboarding, biking, shopping, parasailing, jet skiing, boat rentals, shopping, or casual and fine dining. Sports fans catch a game with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Tampa Bay Lightning, Tampa Bay Rowdies, Tampa Bay Rays or one of the many teams that visit the area for Spring Training. Visit St. Pete world-class museums, exciting concerts, or historic Florida landmarks. There's always something to do. Treasure Island, Florida is a barrier island located in a sub-tropical climate and as such hurricane season runs June 1-Nov. 30, with a peak in August and September. By booking this property you are acknowledging that should a major storm develop during your stay it is possible that there may be a loss of power in the building, in which case the elevators would not be operational. There are 3 stairwells available, and this unit is on the 3rd floor. Additionally in extremely rare cases of a severe storm the Pinellas County Sheriff could order a mandatory evacuation off Treasure Island. By booking this property you are agreeing to abide by any evacuation orders issued.
Regretfully I have had to raise my rates going into 2024 due to extreme increases in beach property and flood insurance resulting in HOA fees increasing 20% this year above the 40% monthly HOA increase 2022 into 2023.
